Garland and Joshua had a good year and are maybe tradeable to keep Zadorov, Lindholm and Hronek if possible. Trading first round picks for rentals is stupid, they're still talking about Toffolli. Let Lindholm go to Boston they would love to have one of the best two way centers in the league, meet them in the final and get beat again Vancouver

Side note: As per my message below (not hockey, but...): Maybe that's something you guys can bring up and press upon TSN and The CFL as to WHY THE HELL don't they grow their game by allowing people around the world to access the channel and their league? Cheers!

Thanks for the season, guys. I like this; a lot more laid back and authentic than many of the 12 1/2 minute guest spots we have talking about The Canucks on the regular circuit of coverage-media, by the so-called "insiders". This feels a lot more like sitting down at the bar, talking from the gut, about how we feel about 'our' team. Appreciate the effort. I live in Taiwan, R.O.C. (NOT Mainland China!), but was born and raised in Vancouver, so, I'm not a Province reader anymore (Yeah, back in the day, it was The Province over The Sun as the paper of choice, due to its far superior sports coverage, as per my opinion, with the likes of the legendary Tony Gallagher, and of course, Jim Taylor!, et al). Canucks are still my team (after almost 30 years living in Asia); The Lions would be too, if the idiots over at TSN would allow international streaming / coverage of The CFL games (but they so ignorantly don't ????, so... Don't follow them as much anymore, sadly. Cheers!

I have one beef with this podcast, you say over and over that you will have this every week or before the playoffs you said you would have these 2-3 times a week. AND it never happens

They need to take the "A" from Pettersen. He's not a leader, he's a great player, but he's in his own head most of the time. The "A" should go to Garland. Garland is a leader, he's a team guy, and he's always encouraged his team mates.

Interestingly, generally, The Oilers D-corps defense sucks (though Coffey's contribution, it seems, has made them 1,000 times better than they were before he was hired on...), their G's defense kinda sucks, and McD-Zone? thoroughly sucks defensively! At which point do we accept that the Oilers had a bad start to the season because they played the Canucks 3 times? In game 4 which was late in the season was redemption time for the Oilers. They lost again bringing the season to 4-0 for the Canucks. Playoffs have started and Canucks are 5-0 vs the Oilers, this Canucks team has been upsetting the experts all year long!

I was born and raised in Vancouver and are. Raised my kids on lovely Vancouver Island property. Returned to North Vancouver to arrange sale of North Vancouver apartment last week. There remains no Vancouver of my youth, there is no planning I could discern. Just wall to wall people. So kind of planners to see to it that there is now her to sit on downtown streets ! Since when did government have to brown nose to developers to build houses ! An apartment is not a house or a home to raise families. These are places to people while they play on the internet. Kids in daycare until space is too stressed, then continue to play in the street, Cops Will attempt to send them “ home” to do their drugs. All gone to hell in less than 40 Years ! This bit just arrived in my face, I thought I might learn something. Like what ? How excited people from grotesquely overpopulated, polluted, corrupt, dangerous Countries are to get here ! Who are you guys ? What planning ? I do more planning before inviting my family, for a weekend ! We were truly shocked. The lovely family friendly Vancouver and suburbs we could afford with jobs 40 years ago is gone. It is now a playground for the wealthy who will feed off the rest. I subscribed to your busy page here, curious to know who you guys are, and if you will actually have something “ constructive “ to say sometime. Series is tied at this point. No need to be worried. Game 2 was a strong effort for the Canucks they just couldn't execute. If they keep playing with the same intensity as in 3rd period of game 2 they will find the back of the net. Just need to fine tune their play. Just like the regular season, I have no expectations for what will happen in the playoffs, and can only be pleasantly surprised. No one expected watching this team win 50 games this season, so, it's all gravy from here on out for me. I do hope there is something honestly building here, though!

as of April 6 it's a 3 point spread and the Oilers have a game in hand with an easier path. Counting on the Canucks having all the tie breakers, earned before Edmonton changed coaches, and became one of the best teams in the league point wise, is gambling on a tie at the end of the season. Realistically if the Canucks want first place they better grab it themselves.

Preds r the obvious 1st choice Nucks should want to face.
